Seasoned Networker Triples Income, Turns Millionaire
Isagenix Executive VP Kathy Coover hands George Ruiz the President’s Award at Celebration 2006.
Chandler, Ariz. – Dec. 1, 2006 – After nearly 10 years building a successful business through a different network marketing company, George Ruiz said he left his six-figure income to join Isagenix in March 2003. In less than three years, Ruiz tripled his income and had made his first $1 million with Isagenix. It’s a stirring message to prospective Isagenix Associates.
"I’m a slow learner. I should’ve joined Isagenix sooner," admitted Ruiz.
High-spirited Ruiz serves as an inspiration and a role model for many Isagenix Associates. To honor his accomplishments, Isagenix President and CEO Jim Coover presented him the company’s prestigious President’s Award at Celebration 2006.
"George has made an outstanding contribution to our company," said Coover. "His emphasis on using teamwork to overcome all challenges has earned him our top award."
The greatest challenge Ruiz said he faced was his own self image, including his "heavy accent" and a misconception that he needed to be able to do everything himself. He advises, "Never compare yourself with anybody. I used to think I couldn’t be successful, until I started going through my own journey of self development. When you become yourself, you’ll be successful.
"When I understood that it’s a team effort, my business started working. I wanted to do everything. When I relaxed and understood that everyone has a different gift, that’s when my business exploded. My two sales teams are like two trains rolling downhill—unstoppable!"

Now Ruiz and his wife, Adhis, have set their sights on higher goals. "I know I can do more now," he said. "I’ve increased my awareness of what I can do with my Isagenix business. I can go to $10 million."
